I have been in facility management for the past 11 years, with several years' experience as a Production Supervisor beforehand.  My initial experience as an FM began in Georgia in the retail sector where I developed the facility staff for multiple 200,000-300,000 sq. ft. locations for a major specialty retailer.  I was relocated to Maryland by my employer living in Annapolis for a couple years before being based out of Tyson's Corner where I took on the challenge of managing facilities for East Coast flagship location as well as the East Coast corporate office building. I helped orchestrate a $36 million dollar remodel project and filled in for the Divisional Facilities Manager. I had the honor of winning several corporate awards and being involved with two committees.

   Currently I am a facility Manager for Physician's Committee For Responsible Medicine (PCRM) in Washington DC. I assist in guiding and developing the staff of the facilities, housekeeping, customer service, security, fulfillment & logistics departments involved with three locations in the metro area and support outlying staff across the country. 

I achieved the CFM this year and have been involved with the Community Service and Communications committees of the Capital chapter of IFMA. I am working towards obtaining my CPMM designation as well as LEED certification. I am passionate about green technology, mechanical engineering and sustainability.
