The Board of Directors for the Capital Chapter leads, organizes and supervises the activities of the chapter and is made up two groups of leaders; elected officers known as the Executive Committee and the Chairs and Co-Chairs from each of the established committees. John Grillo, CFM, FMP Co-Team Lead, Emerging Leaders Team Library of Congress
John Lucien Grillo began his career in Facility Management in 2002 with the University of Connecticut and then shortly after moving to the District of Columba earned a position as Facility Specialist for the Library of Congress. Since 2007 he has worked for the Library in a variety of roles including facility data analyst for life safety hazard abatement, contract administrator for custodial services, quality assurance inspector and sustainability leader. As the Facility Specialist assigned to the Jefferson Building, John has developed specialized skills in managing O&M for historic buildings and project management for hazardous material abatement. After earning his CFM and FMP in 2010, John joined the IFMA Capital Chapter and currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Emerging Leaders Team. In addition to his talents in FM, John is a visual artist and illustrator and speaks fluent Japanese.

Matt Kutzler Co-Team Lead, Special Events Team Facility Engineering Associates
Matt Kutzler, PE is a Project Manager with Facility Engineering Associates, PC, a consulting firm specializing in engineering and facility management. Since 2004, Matt has worked with institutional, residential, and commercial clients to extend the service lives of their buildings. This is accomplished through assessment and development of cost-effective solutions to address a variety of building needs related to repair and restoration. Matt has been a member of the IFMA Capital Chapter since late 2009, becoming involved with the Special Events Committee the following year. He currently serves as Co-Team Leader of the Special Events Team.

Nick LiVigne, FMP Co-Team Lead, Emerging Leaders Team SAIC
Nick LiVigne leads the Corporate Environmental Sustainability Program at SAIC. He is responsible for greenhouse gas, energy, waste and water data management and project development throughout the national Corporate Real Estate Protfolio. He also manages the strategic message and communication of the program within the organization and to external stakeholders. Nick graduated from Cornell University's IFMA-accredited Facilities Planning and Management program in 2007 and has been an active member of the Capital Chapter ever since. Nick became Co-Chair of the Emerging Leaders Team in late 2009.

John Netzel, CFM Team Lead, Communications Team Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine
John Netzel CFM, CPMM is a facility & office services manager with PCRM. He has been in the industry for 15 years managing multiple locations for Nordstrom & TVI inc. Currently he is preparing for his LEED credential exam. He is active with several committees and is the team leader of the Communications Committee.

Kristen Parnes, CFM Team Lead, Community Service Team
Kristen has over 20 years of experience in the field of facilities management, working primarily in the public sector for Constellation Energy and the Securities & Exchange Commission, and most recently as a facilities management consultant. She has a B.S. in Facilities Management from Cornell University and an M.S. in Business from Johns Hopkins University, and she earned her CFM in 2010. She has been a member of the Capital Chapter since 2009 when she immediately joined the Community Service Team, becoming the Team Lead in 2010.

Mike Petrusky Team Lead, Partnership Team Kayrell Business Solutions
Mike Petrusky of Kayrell Solutions has been a print industry executive for over twenty years, providing integrated marketing products and services to clients in the DC area. Since founding Kayrell in 2003, Mike has focused on delivering innovative graphic design, printing, mailing, and promotional product solutions for marketing programs and events. As a Capital Chapter of IFMA member, Mike has been involved with the Special Events Committee and served as chair of the 2011 Capital Chapter Golf Outing. Currently, he is the chair of the Partnership Committee.

Jeff Sklaver Co-Team Lead, Membership Services Team ArtMatters
Jeff Sklaver is a principal at ArtMatters, a successful corporate art consulting firm he helped found in 2003. ArtMatters serves businesses and the design community throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The company specializes in art that’s both contemporary and sophisticated and creates an exciting, attractive and inspiring work environment. He is responsible for all sales and marketing. Prior to joining ArtMatters, Jeff was a business-to-business marketing executive in the telecommunications industry.
He received his graduate (MBA) and undergraduate degrees from George Washington University. He has been an active member of the Capital Chapter of IFMA since 2009, assisting with new member orientations, and currently serves as Co-Chair of the Membership Services Committee.
